HDFC Offer | Target Spend Based Promotion for December 2020

HDFC is back with its Spend Based Promotion for December 2020. Under this offer, you are entitled to get a gift voucher after meeting the spending target mentioned in the mailer communication using your HDFC Bank Credit Card. Details below:

• Offer Details

- Spend Rs X on your HDFC credit card and get a gift voucher from top merchants.

- X is the amount to be spent as communicated in the mailer communication.

• Offer Period

- 2nd December to 31st December 2020

• Voucher Options

- Eligible Cardholders can choose the gift voucher of their choice from the following brands:

→ Flipkart

→ Amazon

→ BigBazaar

→ BigBasket

In our case, the target given for December 2020 is 25,000 INR, which would fetch us a gift voucher worth 2,000 INR ~ a reward rate of 8%. We have noticed a significant jump in rewards rate compared to the last month's spend-based offer, wherein the reward rate stood at just 6.45%. We suppose the RBI's temporary ban on new HDFC Credit Cards issuance might have played a role in it for obvious reasons.

Do note that this offer applies to only those cardholders who have received a mail communication from HDFC Bank. 

• Offer Conditions

→ Vouchers will be sent to eligible customers within 90 working days from the offer end date.

→ This offer is valid on retail spends and on purchases made through HDFC Bank Credit Cards.

→ This offer is not valid on cash withdrawal and loan products like EasyEMI spends, Dial-An-EMI, Cash-on-Call, Balance Transfer, Balance Transfer on EMI, Personal Loan on Credit Card, etc.
